First, you need to give yourself a hand for actually ATTEMPTING to forgive your ex. That’s big. If you will set your intention to get rid of a small bit every day, within a very small amount of time you’ll see your energy release and dissipate. It’s absolutely necessary to forgive even for those who don’t think there’s anything left to forgive. Forgiveness is an ongoing process and one that releases YOU the most. Another great practice is to choose some thoughts that you appreciated about your previous relationship. They don’t have to be related to the romance. Perhaps you liked the way he did the home repairs. Or you loved what a close circle of friends he has. Maybe you loved his grin. It can be whatever you want. The reason is to start to look for qualities that you appreciated. You do this for no other reason than to shift your energy about him. You release your intentions.
When you let go of previous guilt you create space. Space to receive more of what’s desired. And for all of us, what’s wanted is to receive more of what you want.
