The economic down turn has affected us all, people in the UK have become more cashless than every before. This year has seen a major reduction in the purchase of romantic and great gifts.

 

People are instead opting for more established gifts these days, but one affair that has really caught on that does not make good sense is gadgets. Gadgets have seen a vast rise in sales over the last 12 months, but the thing is they end up becoming a lot more expensivegifts.

IPod

Every single person in the globe, wants an IPod for themselves, summing up its the only music device that you really need.

 

IPhone

As we have seen an increase in internet communication, the only phone to have these days is a smart phone. The IPhone was one of the first to hit the scene and it ended up catching on like fire. Every youngster and adult now wants an IPhone.

 

Games Console

The games console industry has seen a huge shift over the past few years and this was mainly because of the Wii. You now see parents and female teenagers who would have never played a console in the past, now requesting one.

 

In person I believe the main grounds that people are no longer purchasing gifts such as rings and eternity gifts is because its just another affair to think about that people just cannot afford in this day and age. There is already so many occasions such as Christmas day and Birthdays, so there is genuinely no demand to keep purchasing romantic gifts, unless of course you are earning good amounts of money.
