Getting started with finding the right music is also important and should be done early. Decide together what type of music is right for your event. If you decide on live music you may want to hold auditions in order to find the right group. This is one of the reasons that this decision must be made early.

Choosing your wedding colors is also important to do early because these colors will influence so many other wedding items. The groom and groomsmen will dress to match and the bridesmaids will be dressed in these colors as well. This should probably be one of the first decisions that you make about the wedding.
